This style headlight is prone to having the headlight tabs break or crack. Once this happens the threaded metal clip is not longer usable to fasten the light to the mounting frame. The BOP kit is inexpensive fix versus replacing the entire headlight assembly. The "installation instructions" link at the top of the page provides pictures and an explanation on how the kit works. The kits are available in the online store for $30.
