The reverse actuators are responsible for shifting between forward and reverse. When they fail often times it leaves one stuck in reverse or even in between gears. After hearing customers talk of ruined trips due to this, I created this handy tool to hopefully save a trip. The lever allows one to shift back into forward and then once bolted in place it locks it into forward so one can resume a trip. The lever comes with 2 shorter mounting bolts and we put lock nuts on so the bolts remain with the lever and do not get lost. Removal of the actuator and install of the lever can easily be done trailside.
